The Research On The Bronze Vessels Of The Spring And Autumn Period In The Anhui Province Along The Yangtze River

There are about 14 square kilometers in Anhui province, Huai River and the Yangtze River divide the province into Wanbei Area, Jianghuai Area and Wannan Area three areas. In this paper, we study the area along the Yangtze,mainly including the southern area of Jianghuai and the northern of Wannan. There are many rivers in the area which is rich in water resource. Most of the area belongs to the alluvial long-narrow plain which has always been a relatively developed agriculture, as early as the Paleolithic. Since ancient times, this area is at the heart of cultural exchanges between the north and the south area. There found dozens of ancient mining and metallurgy ruins in Tongling, Fanchang and NaLing ancient. There also has a lot of Chinese dynasty conquering the literature record in the area.During the spring and autumn period, Zhou dynasty is no longer dominate other kingdoms as before, and provides a relatively loose environment for other little country, each region’s bronze has its own characteristics. Under the impact of the various culture, the area of Anhui along the Yangtze river has its own unique culture.With the development of the archaeology enterprise in our country, region along the Yangtze river in Anhui unearthed a wide range of the bronze, many scholars research these bronzes, but due to some bronze rarely found in central plains and the neighboring Anhui region, most no inscriptions on bronze ware, some implements the shape and characteristic, thus caused the scholars met on dating the same bronzes for difference is very big. This article mainly from the area along the Yangtze river in Anhui, with clear given priority to coexistence relationship or unearthed bronze group of 15 group, the site of the specific analysis of the bronze vessels, ornamentation, casting method and so on, with the central plains and in the vicinity of Anhui ancient bronze comprehensive comparison, finally give the date of each bronzes group, this is the most important part of the article, and also is the key of the research work.Early Spring and Autumn period: Suncun Group, Tangjiashan Group, Zhongming Group, Zhengxing Group, Changgang Group, Wangcun Group,Middle Spring and Autumn period:Tongling Station Group, Xihu Group, Yangjiapai Group, Dunshang Group, Yangshi Group, Xielong Group, Shizi Group, Jinkouling M2 GroupLate Spring and Autumn period:Longgang GroupAfter give the bronze accurate date, analyzes its cultural outlook, influenced by which culture, make everyone to have a deeper understanding of the bronze culture.Through the study of this article, I hope we can examine each period bronze vessels of all kinds of cultural factors and reflect the region and the central plains and near areas of cultural exchange. We will have a more clear understanding of bronze culture in the area.
