Intangible Cultural Heritage’s Protection In The Process Of The Construction Of Socialist Culture With Chinese Characteristics

Culture is the blood and soul of a nation, the spiritual home of the people, and animportant support for national development. Culture reflects the nation’s sense ofidentity and belonging, vitality and cohesion. Under the leadership of the CommunistParty of China, China has been committed to develop the construction of socialistculture with Chinese characteristics, constantly pursuit the great development andprosperity of socialist culture. Strengthening the protection of intangible culturalheritage, an important part of advanced socialist culture, is not only conducive todeepen the people’s understanding of intangible cultural heritage, better inheritChina’s intangible cultural heritage, but also contribute to improve the people’scultural identity, promote the construction of socialist culture with Chinesecharacteristics, enhance China’s cultural soft power.In this paper, the construction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics isthe background, the protection of intangible cultural heritage is the entire thesis’s redline. This paper firstly systematically summarized the intangible cultural heritage,starting from the appearing and concept of intangible cultural heritage, deeplyanalyzed its characteristics and value. Secondly, based on the brief exposition of therelationship between intangible cultural heritage and the construction of socialistculture with Chinese characteristics, the author analyzed and expounded thesignificance of protecting intangible cultural heritage to the construction of socialistculture with Chinese characteristics. Then the author objectively and comprehensivelyanalyzed the current protection situation of intangible cultural heritage in the processof constructing socialist culture with Chinese characteristics, combed objectively andrationally the achievements and problems in the current protection process ofintangible cultural heritage, and analyzed internal and external causes of focusing onthe protection of intangible cultural heritage. Finally, the author researched andanalyzed all kinds of measures of Japan, South Korea, France, Italy’s protection ofintangible cultural heritage, summarized the successful experience of them. Based onit, the author proposed protection measures and methods for protecting intangiblecultural heritage in the process of constructing socialist culture with Chinesecharacteristics, aimed to provide some useful guidance for the future China’s intangible cultural heritage protection on theoretical and practical level.
