The subway station visual construction mainly refers to based on the subway station’s special cultural background or geographical characteristics, and combined with the subway station space, to research its construction of the visual image, then end with a method and models. The "one station scene" is the main content of the research and creation, then form a "one-stop story, multi station a history of which lay an important foundation and early reference.With the comprehensive development of China’s city construction and subway transportation system increasingly perfect, there is the new challenge to the subway station. Which means subway station visual construction need to show the culture of a city, also show the function and importance of the subway.Subway plays becomes more and more important in our lives. Therefore, in addition to meeting the basic need of people transportation, it also should be considered that how to improve the service efficiency and quality of subway. Subway construction is closely related to urban development, the visual image of the subway station also reflect the urban culture. A good visual image of subway station can improve service efficiency and convenience of commuters, passengers can feel the unique charming and the different culture of the city.First, this article describes the investigation of the subway history and some representative subway stations, and make some research of the situation of the subway station visual image design. Combined with some relevant information, this article analyzes the development trend of the future subway. Then, base on the various elements of visual design, it reflects the unique importance of the visual culture of the subway station design. Finally, the systematic and standardized design concept and design method are produced, to provide some reference for the research on the related subject.
