The Research On The Rhetoric Arts Of Taigu Yangge Opera

Chinese Oprea, the Greek Drama and Indan Drama are called the three most ancient opera culture all over the world. In addition, Chinese opera includes a wide range of different operas. According to incomplete statistics, there are more than three hundred and sixty kinds of local operas in China. Chinese opera is a treasury of opera arts and Taigu Yangge Opera is a bright pearl in the treasury. In 1984, Guo Qiwen,cultural bureau chief of Taigu, Chen Jianmin, a compeser, Wang Xiaoduan(whose stage name is Xiangmandan),an old actor of Taigu Yangge Opera and some other poeple wrote the book Taigu Yangge together, which introduced Taigu Yangge totally the first time. Thereafter,research on Taigu Yangge is increasingly rich and thorough. But, these studies mostly focus on music, folk-custome, dance and the origin, and rarely dealt with the language of Taigu Yangge. From the point of dialetology and rhetoric, this paper makes a full study of the rhetoric arts of Taigu Yangge opera. It consists of six parts.First, introduction. Introdece its development and name, research status and shortage, states the research object, significance, methods,curpos source and the initial consonant, vowel and tone of Taigu Yangge opera.Second, discuss the general features of Taigu Yangge. Highlight the features by comparing the language of Taigu Yangge and Taigu dialect.Third, phonetic rhetoric arts of Taigu Yangge opera. On the basis of TaiGu Yangge Script Sets and video data, this chapter analysis the use of words related to the sound and its expressive function, sums up the rhyme of Taigu Yangge, discusses rhetorical effect of padding words and homopho.Fourth, rhetoric of word in Taigu Yangge opera. This chaper illstrates rhetoric of word in Taigu Yangge opera from three aspects: the selection of dialect words, artistic use of usual words, the choice of synonymous words and antisense words.Fifth, figures of speech in Taigu Yangge.We made a carpet scanning of 210 plays in the set, induces the main figures of speech, and analysis rhetorical functions deeply.Sixth, conclusion. Summarizes the main innovation of this paper,points out the shortage and problems which need more study.
