With China’s rising national strength, Chinese is becoming a trendy language, with more and more people learning Chinese. "Chinese fever" continues to heat up so effectively teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language must be thoroughly thought out. Considering the characteristics of Chinese and teaching foreigners, in this case high school students in Thailand, the author chose to play fun and effective teaching games with the students.Time nouns as a subclass of Chinese vocabulary play an important role in daily communication. The author used selected time nouns to design educative Chinese games. To prove the effectiveness of the games, classroom observations, questionnaires, interviews and feedback of the students are required.This paper is divided into fifth parts. The first part is an introduction section, detailing the origins of the topic, research significance, research situation, the paper’s topic and research methods used.The second part describes the connotation and basic game theory pedagogy.The third part explains the principles of the teaching games to be followed and summarizes the principles of classroom games according to the characteristics of Thai high school students.The fourth part focuses on teaching practice of time nouns in the game teaching. It described from the function and classification of time words, the relevant preparatory work of time words teaching in the game teaching and the design of classroom game for teaching time nouns. Among them, the part of practice game explaining the name of each game, purpose, preparation, vocabulary range, test time, the game’s way and rules, experiments show, games classroom feedback, game summary, game design innovation, positive sense of game design, game design deficiencies and corresponding countermeasures.The fifth part of the paper contains teaching pedagogy and summarizes surveys, used questionnaires, classroom observations, face to face interviews and other methods for teaching games about time nouns to validate the analysis and draw relevant conclusions.
