At the beginning of 21st century, the civilization of human society has been unprecedentedly developed. With the advent of information technology and advanced technology, more and more new technologies start to cut a striking figure in people’s production and daily life. As one of the four elements of industry closest to human, the importance of energy in our daily life is self-evident. However, traditional fossil fuels such as coal and oil are non-renewable and discharge waste, which are proved to be incommensurate to the rapid development of economic society. Therefore, to avoid the bad result presented in the film and television works and games, people are expecting to tap new resources of energy which is renewable, Energy-efficient and low -emission so that we can save energy, reduce emission and protect the environment on the basis to ensure the production and survival.New energies represented by biomass to liquid fuel and lignocellulosic ethanol emerge as the times require. For the past few years, with the faster pace of reform and opening-up and higher opening degree of China, as a member of ASEAN, Thailand has cooperated more with China in in various areas, especially in in economic area. As the graduation thesis of an engineering student in Thailand, it is mainly about the development prospects and significance of liquefied biofuels and cellulosic ethanol in Thailand, which has special reference to us.For its exposition style, the text needs a straight and clear expression on practical level, with a target to "expressive" during the translation. After confirmed the language structure and text type, I decide translate the text based on "skopostheory" and "equivalence theory" and some other translation principles, with multiple methods. On account of the process, this report will include four chapters which are "introduction", "pre-analysis and preparations", "instance analysis" and "conclusion". The first chapter is a brief introduction about why we choose this topic. The next part, which contains background, structure and summarize, is a detailed dissection for original text and preparations, also about what we have consulted. The third part is the critical part of the text. I will go into the depth of three points that I once faced during translating:proper nouns’ meaning, translation methods and how to translate scientific words. The fourth part is a conclusion to the whole process. What’s more, next to the main body there is a bilingual for readers to look up the original text and translation. As a translation report, it summarizes the process of translating a technological thesis with the view of discussing the application and effects of English-Chinese translation strategy and providing comparisons and references for other translators from the review and reflection of the translating process.
