Being one of the most important writers of contemporary Taiwan’s literary world, Luo has been given successive and endless surprises to his readers with magnificent reveries and his vivid pen. Based on the theory of narrative referring to "story", "discourse" and "narrative", this paper tries to do a comprehensive research on the theme of his novels and narrative art he used, paying special attention to the relatively uniform element in the novel creation.Except for the introduction and conclusion, this paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter focused on the themes of Luo’s novels such as "father-son relationship" "the pattern of life and death" "identity form" "lack of experience" "marginal", and carried on the induction and analysis of these themes. Such topics both reflects the Taiwan provincial second deepest "without father"&"no history" situation, also reflected the whole modern information era. Now these themes not only respectively appear on the surface in the same text, but also take off in overlapping and fusion between different works.The second chapter focused on the time and space in Luo’s novels. Fiction plot development process must includes time, constituting the plot of the event itself inherent space scene. The author’s choice of story space and sequence of events in the present, can limit the development of the plot, affecting the meaning of the theme, to a certain extent. Luo chose to change timing, adjustment, delay, or even stagnation node story happened, will be irrelevant debris collage life; Partition story space, at the same time, expertly damage potential story lines, the whole plot context arrangement into a maze. Through his story text set, Luo has built a circular cycle time elapses. It is also a microcosm of contemporary Taiwan society, reflected his understanding and thinking of the era of information explosion in this consumption supremacy.The third chapter discussed the narrative perspective and voice in Luo’s novels. In creation, Luo let himself appear in the text, cross using first-person and third-person narration, or directly uses novel narration strategy——the "narrative" is presented to the reader, compensating for the lack of "experience". To a certain extent, his narrative art of the novel has carried on the beneficial exploration.Luo loves story, but is not obsessed with the story itself, his story paid more attention to expressing ideas and refraction times, thinking man’s existence situation. Faced with their own lack of "experience", he cleverly mobilize their own creative potential and narrative art, using limited life experience and in-depth thinking, to broaden their artistic expression of space, and gradually build out his own unique writing system prototype. To a certain extent, his work have enriched the landscape of Taiwan literature creation.
