In recent years, with the rapid development of world economy, cultural creative industry is the emerging industry posture to high-speed development, and it has been slowly into the economic development. At present, the main regions for the development of cultural and creative industries are North America, Europe, and Asia. At the same time, with the establishment of the FTA, trade in services has been paid more and more attention and concern, and cultural and creative industries as an important part of service trade has also become one of the key elements of the negotiations. It is necessary to analyze international cultural trade and the competitiveness of China’s cultural creative industries which have not only theory value but also directive significance.This paper is based on the data in UNCTAD and the World Bank from 2003 to 2012, and it analysis the present situation of international trade for cultural and creative industries, including the scale and structure of trade, and then use the international market share, TC index, RCA index and GL index, quantitatively compare the level and the factors of trade competitiveness of cultural and creative industries in China, Japan and South Korea, in order to explain the key point of the influence on cultural and creative industry trade competitiveness. According to the results of the analysis, I will put forward to some suggestions on improving trade competitiveness of cultural creative industry, and promoting the development of cultural and creative industry. As a result, I hope that cultural and creative industries in China can be in favorable position in the fierce international competition, and it will promote the development of Chinese economy.The results show that compared with Japan and Korea, cultural and creative industries of China has a large advantage in trade volume and total trade competitiveness, but there are still many problems in trade structure. In terms of the industry’s trade competitiveness, crafts, design, new media products of China have a large trade competitive advantage, and Japan has very obvious trade competitiveness in the audio-visual, publications, and Korea has a significant competitive advantage in arts crafts and new media.
