Meng Haoran is one of the Landscape and pastoral poet of Tang Dynasty, he write a large number of landscape poems after Xie Lingyun. Hometown complex is a constant theme of literary creation for thousands of years, it is the performance for people seeking spiritual comfort. The earliest concept of complex was proposed by Freud, and translated as "the heart of the complex", then after further discussion of Carl Jung and Adler, the complex became gradually generalization. Freud consider that the complex is the correlative feelings and concepts’ description, complex formation originates from the impact on the individual which occurred in the past reside in the unconscious.Meng Haoran’s hometown complex is in the performance of all his life, including when he sought official opptunities into the north after forty years old, and the nostalgia in the process of roaming. The formation of Meng Haoran’s hometown complex not only because of the Chinese tradition of homesickness, also reflected his deep love of homeland. Home not only give him an easy and comfortable environment, also he is proud of the famous persons and culture of hometown.Meng Haoran’s poetry reflect his internal complex, to study his hometown complex in favor of understand the charm of the poetry, and we can know the poet how to refract life through the heart.
