The Research Of Military Defense System Of Northeast Guangxi In The Ming Dynasty

Military defense research is always an important problem of military history and political history research. Ming Dynasty northeast Guangxi is Guangxi’s political, economic,cultural center and have strategic importance of major strategic value.Meanwhile, the area with complex terrain, inhabited by Han Chinese and ethnic minorities distribution, class, ethnic conflicts abnormal sharp, in Ming Dynasty, minority uprising continued, to the local social order caused a strong impact.In order to safeguard the rule, Ming Dynasty rulers built up a tight military defense system in northeast Guangxi.In this paper, through the northeastern region of Guangxi in Ming Dynasty, inspection garrison, Xunjiansi, city, barracks, strategic pass defense and other military agencies,and to the flag army, militia army as the main system research.Explore the establishment, development process and the role of the Ming Dynasty local military defense system, and provide a useful reference for further study changes in the Ming Dynasty military regime and local grass-roots community.Text of this paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the Geographic and Humanity of northeast Guangxi in Ming Dynasty.A brief overview of natural geography and social situation of the northeast region of Guangxi in Ming Dynasty, including geographical location, climate, administrative divisions, traffic conditions, population ethnic,social conflicts and unrest.Outlining the background of the northeastern region of Guangxi in Ming Dynasty established a military defense system as a whole.The second part is The establishment of urban and rural areas in the Ming Dynasty military defense system.With the inclusion of Guangxi in the Ming Dynasty, under the auspices of the country, northeast Guangxi established a garrison city-based defense system and to the inspection division based village defense system.This section discusses the garrison, the process of establishing inspection division, geographical distribution and their role in the military defense.The third part is Pushed forward military defense system This part will have a study to the city,barracks,strategic pass and other military fortifications set up, distribution and characteristics.They sound role in promoting northeast Guangxi military defense system, and the importance of rural clear military control.Part IV is about Army forces and Army system of northeast Guangxi in Ming Dynasty. This part is standing on the system level have discusses about garrison criminals,other army, camp soldiers and Minzhuang,thugs,soldier,rural soldiers, such as different types of development context of military forces, deployment location.Analyze their own unique characteristics, functions and role.Part V is Ming Dynasty military defense system Construction and Local Society of northeast Guangxi. Expanding and improving military defense system of the northeastern region of Guangxi in the Ming Dynasty, led to the militarization of local social control. Garrison,plow soldiers make the crisis between people and land,, leading to intensification of social contradictions.At the same time, access to military immigrants also contributed to the national integration of the northeastern region of Guangxi in the Ming Dynasty.
