The Investigation Of The Relationship Among Learning Burnout, Self-esteem And Loneliness Of Poor Area’s Middle School Students

Student burnout is a negative effect attitude and behavior symptom among the students under stress in process of studying,it includes four elements-emotional exhaustion, reduced learning efficacy, alliance to pears and teachers and physical exhaustion There are serious weary of studying and rising dropout rate in our country because of learning and entrance exam pressure, this situation is particularly acute among students of poor areas in China. So, it is very necessary to study about students learning burnout phenomenon in poor areas, expect to find out the causes of the students burnout, thus effectively improve the situation of students’burnout in poor areas.Based on an investigations on three factors--learning burnout, self-esteem and loneliness of 186 Middle School Students from poor areas of China- Guyuan of Ningxia province was carried out by the methods of opening questionnaire survey. This thesis has the following proposals:1. There does exist learning burnout among poor areas’ middle school students. On the whole,it has significant differences in the grade and gender, ninth grade students’ learning burnout score significantly higher than other grades, also girls learning burnout level significantly lower than the boys; Also, found out existence of interaction between grade and gender.2. There is a lower level of self-esteem among middle school students in the poor areas; Middle School Students’ self-esteem has significant differences in the grade and gender, seventh grade students’ self-esteem score significantly higher than other grades, boys’ self-esteem score significantly higher than the girls’.3. Poor areas’ students were at medium level of loneliness. There is a significant grade effect on loneliness, seventh grade students’ loneliness level significantly higher than other two grades.4. There are significant positive correlation between learning burnout and loneliness; learning burnout and self-esteem.5. Learning burnout and self-esteem can effect each other; Different levels of loneliness of students have significant differences between learning burnout as a whole its’ aspects. That is the higher the level of loneliness, the more learning burnout that the subjects have; the less learning burnout that the subjects have on lower level of loneliness.Finally, based on the experience and according to the research conclusion of this study, some advices have given to the further research.
