Based on the analysis of the concepts of learning burnout,time management disposition and self-esteem of current students and the domestic and foreign research situation,this paper investigates the learning burnout of junior high school students and explores the mediating role of self-esteem between time management disposition and learning burnout.In this study,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 610 students of Xingtai experimental middle school in Hebei province using the time management tendency scale,adolescent learning burnout scale and self-esteem scale.Spss21.0 was used for principal component analysis of the data.The results are as follows :(1)There was no remarkable difference in sexuality and class in junior high school students’ time management disposition.(2)There are significant class differences in junior high school students’ learning burnout.In terms of physical and mental exhaustion,the standard of junior high school boys is significantly higher than that of girls.There was no remarkable difference in junior middle school students’ learning burnout.(3)There was no remarkable sexuality difference in junior high school students’ self-esteem,but there was a significant difference in grade.The self-esteem level of junior high school students was significantly higher than that of junior high school students.(4)There was a remarkable negative relation between junior high school students’ time management disposition and learning burnout.(5)There was a remarkable vigorous positive correlation between time management disposition and self-esteem of junior high school students.(6)There was a remarkable passive correlation between junior high school students’ learning burnout and self-esteem.(7)Middle school students’ self-esteem played a partial mediating role in time management tendency and learning burnout.
