With the developing of China-Russian relations, cooperation in the political, economic and cultural fields between two countries is increasing gradually. Nowadays, China-Russian Medical Health Care develops rapidly as a new unique industry, more and more Russian came to China, hoping to know more about unique Chinese traditional medicine culture. However, traditional Chinese medical unique theory and unintelligible jargon brings many difficulties to medical interpreter.Because some interpreters are lack of medical expertise knowledge, do not understand the deeper meaning of words, focus only on the superficial meaning, or can’t explain the words clearly when divorced from Chinese.Sometime, they do not get a deep understanding for Russian culture and Russian medical terminology, it is very possible for misinterpretation phenomenon. This thesis aims to present the development of the industry, an overview of professional features, as well as the reason analysis for misinterpretation, hope that the thesis can help the Chinese interpreters get to know this field and works smoothly.To begin with, the thesis introduces the meaning, features and forms of medical interpreter. Meanwhile, introduces the current situation for medical interpreting briefly. In the second part, the first elaborate on the development and current situation of China-Russian medical interpreter, misinterpretation and cause analysis. In a real medical interpreting practice, even for experienced, high level of Russian-Chinese bilingual medical interpreters,who were also inevitable interpret and misinterpretation.
