Research On Fengxiaogang’s Comedy

In the late 1990 s,the domestic movie market was occupied by the mainstream ideology and foreign films.At this time,more rise number of citizens demand the appearance of entertainment movie.so the Fengxiaogang’s comedy movies like a timely rain,they solve those people’s desire.Although with mixed reviews at beginning,he relies on his comedy becoming an evergreen box-office myth,enters the three directors and become a giant.Based on the contact of Fengxiaogang’s comedy with the mass culture,the narrative theory,the thesis analyses the comedy’s feature from two basic aspects of characters and narrative.The whole article is divided into three chapters.The first chapter combines the theory of mass culture to analyse the characters in Fengxiaogang’s comedy.As the backbone of mass culture,the rise citizen class is not only the main groups to accept his comedy,but also the focus of those lens.On the choice of actors,the hero of fengxiaogang’s comedy are fixed by GeYou,it is the result of double ugliness by his common and distinctive appearance with shaping characters.Which makes those characters lively is the absurd and wisdom words,they dispel authority and crisis and make all seemingly unsolvable contradictions properly be solved.The second chapter combine the relevant theory of film narrative to analyse the narrative features in Fengxiaogang’s comedy on the films’ narrative dimensions.The director uses episodic combination of linear progression to bring people into unexpected wonders.At this point,he also builds many gaming plot to resolve conflicts and establishes a relaxed cheerful atmosphere.The appearance of the dramatic tension in predicament adds so many surprise comic effect.On the basis of the former two chapters,the third chapter summarize the value of Fengxiaogang’s comedy from the aspect of business,art and history.the thesis reflects the limitation of the civilians and fast-food tendency,the blank research existing in Fengxiaogang’s comedy and the rumor in director Fengxiaogang’s leave.At the same time,the thesis reflects the new change in contemporary comedy and internal focus change for the director Fengxiaogang’s time request.The author hope that the thesis could provide some reference for realizing the diversification balanced development of Chinese film industry through this careful carding.Author also hope director Fengxiaogang could ignore those rumors and continue to contribute more high quality comedy.Chinese film criticism and creation will soon form a healthy ecosystem to make the two-way development come true.
