With the development of China’s economy and the improvement ofinternational status, Thai students in China are growing. Therefore, to Thaistudents,the research on Chinese teaching about Thai students is attracting moreand more attention。This paper takes Thailand students as the object of study,mainly study theirerror phenomenon generated by learning and applying Chinese momentum term.The paper begins with the ontology research of momentum term and momentumterm in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In the basis of comparison betweenChinese and Thai momentum word, according to the natural collection andquestionnaire the error corpus analysis, we try to study Thailand students’ errors’characteristic and genesis in using Chinese momentum word, and put forward thecorresponding suggestions for teaching.The paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the Introduction,introduce the research significance, theoretical basis, research method, researchobjects and data sources, and related research. The second chapter is the survey ofThai students in using Chinese momentum term, includes the purpose ofinvestigation, investigation methods, survey design and research results. The thirdchapter is the Thai students’ Chinese momentum term error analysis. It issummarized the types of errors and causes of errors. The fourth chapter is therelated suggestions on teaching about Thai foreign students in learning Chinesemomentum term. We expect to give some helpful methods to Thai students’ studyin Chinese momentum term. The fifth chapter is the conclusion.
