Chinese Spring Festival and Thailand Songkran Festival are very important traditional festival of their own kind. The two traditional festivals:Spring Festival and Songkran festival are considered as the New year. People have attached great importance to them. When there is change of social development, economic and cultural aspects, The two festivals are affected, making the traditional customs of the two festivals to change, at the same time, the two traditional festivals are also moving overseas, receiving reception and attention by people around the world.Anyway, the traditions and customs of the Spring Festival in China and Thailand's Songkran Festival have many things in common, and these traditional festivals is thought to have a far-reaching impact on the life of its people. In Thailand, most of the Chinese people are ethnic Chinese, they not only attach importance to Thailand's Songkran Festival, but also attach importance to the Spring Festival in China, and therefore, Thai people began to engage in the traditional Chinese culture, thus leading to gradual impact of Chinese in the daily life of the Thai people. Later, Thailand people began to learn Chinese, and more and more people learning Chinese. The education sector has a plan to reform the traditional Chinese language teaching to adapt to the new era of teaching rhythm. The indispensable teaching content is the knowledge of Chinese traditional culture----Spring Festival, a very important festival for the Chinese people. The teaching of spring festival culture, a part from letting the learners to understand the Spring Festival cultural knowledge, it also attract the interest of Chinese scholars and make them more passionate about learning Chinese. Therefore, discusses Sino-Thai new year's cultural comparison, and finding out the similarities and differences between the two festivals, analyzing on the development of social, economic, cultural and other aspects of change, including the way of life of the peoples of the two countries. In addition, in the Chinese language teaching curriculum, to study the making of culture festival teaching syllabus and teaching plan, analysis and application of festival culture contrast teaching method in the classroom teaching, including cultural activities related to the festival culture and Chinese Teaching.
