Study On Change Of QinShi Clan Culture In Guizhong Region

As a basic organization of the Chinese traditional society, Clan, whose development trend and way of change directly reflect the change of Chinese society and culture, is an important social organization or social group. This paper mainly analyzes the clan culture and its changes in Guangxi Guizhong ZhuangZu Region and further discusses the changes’trend and its characteristics of the clan organization in Guizhong Region in order to show a pattern that can reflect the clan culture change in contemporary society, so that the influence of Chinese social change in recent years towards the clan organization in Guangxi Guizhong ZhuangZu Region can be understood.This full text is divided into seven parts, taking the widespread development and changes of transregional combined clan organizations and clan organizations with same surname in Guangxi Guizhong ZhuangZu Region as an example, to discus the changes of the contemporary clan culture in GuiZhong Region from the perspective of cultural change. The introduction of this paper mainly introduces the origin of the problem, research purpose and research meaning, presents the related research background about clan and the clan culture in academic circle, and introduces the research methods of this paper; The first chapter outlines the general overview of Qinshi clan in Guangxi Region, and the historical memory and materialized carrier of its two branches, Qin Nuan Branch and Qin Daye Branch. The second chapter analyzes a new form of clan organizations appeared in contemporary society:Qinshi Clan Hall Council and Culture Research Association of Liuzhou HongQin, which illustrate the characteristics of the clan organization transformed independently from conservative to open; the third chapter discusses the development trend of the clan activities from oneness to diversity to reveal the meaning of the clan activities; The fourth chapter analyses the development trend of clan system from forcible transformation to flexible enlightment by such means as simplifying ancestor worship system, desalting clan leaders’ authority, implementing scholar system for all, and loosening the genealogy compilation system; the fifth chapter, from the aspects of economy and power, analyzes the supporting force of clan’s existence and development gradually transforming into a situation where the accumulation of wealth and power becomes its main characteristics. And under the framework of "Country-Clan Model", this paper states what changes have taken place in the management strategy of the clan because of the country’s influence, and which "attitude" the clan will adopt to be answerable for the infiltration of the modern state power and social culture toward local society in order to obtain their own survival and development opportunities; the conclusion part mainly make the generalized comparison of the clan culture between the ethnic minorities and the Chinese.This study is aimed at analyzing how the southwest area with a lower development condition than the southeast developed areas can well adapt to modern society and form a new clan organization and then step on the path of clan revival; on the other hand, it also discusses the situation that the existence of clan form, to a great extent, belongs to the form of cross-regional combined branches of a clan organization or sharing a common ancestor with same surname, and the clan existence tends to an economic union, rather than just a political and cultural association, which presents another kind of clan organization model that is different from what Friedman has researched about the southeast clan organization which is allied for political purpose-that is the economy-based clan organization. Throughout the change course of clan organizations in modern society, even in a community with the same name as the sign and symbol people still build the blood relationship and divide the emotion attribution between each other, which embodies the clan psychological recognition and self-identity between each other. At the same time, it fully shows that there exists a kind of clan culture with national characteristics in ZhuangZu-inhabitated Region, which provides a case study for revival and changes of the clan culture in ZhuangZu-inhabitated Region.
