Considering tomb objects and burial costume, Jiangxi area was one of the most distinctive districts in Song and Yuan China. As for grave objects, Jiangxi area was the original district of Modeled Figurines Jars and the innovation of those jars in Jiangxi influenced those of other districts. This paper is focus on varied aspects of funerary artifacts in each period, including combination of different artifact kind, quantity and quality of objects. By analyzing object figures, the difference of each social class is shown and so is the development in each time period.In addition, the rules concluded from artifacts of identified tombs can offer us clues about social state information of unidentified graves, and conjectures of time and other figures. For a very long time, Jiangxi area has been an important subject of social history study, especially on local elite, regional belief and territorial economy. As a result, the study of tomb objects from different social state will-benefit understanding of reality of normal people’s life and their burial costume, which in the end can give a better inspection on the study of other academic areas.
