Along with our country and the world in the political. economic and cultural exchanges and other fields have become increasingly frequent, the global demand for Chinese language and culture is on the rise, the number of foreign students is increasing year by year. Study abroad preparatory education for universities in China is going into higher education of foreign students is an important transition. In this short period of one to two years, international students studying in China should not only lay the foundation for learning Chinese language and culture knowledge for future study and life, but also to learn professional knowledge related with them, after completion of the preparatory study of domestic high school graduates in China. Therefore, to adapt to and meet their demand for Chinese language learning, it has the extremely vital significance to improve their Chinese level.The concept of "communication" in twentieth Century 70 time by the foreign scholars put forward and used in the foreign language teaching, followed by the scholars in our country have to follow the foreign advanced achievements of the method has been used in China’s English teaching and teaching Chinese as a second language. Although the syllabus for teaching Chinese as a foreign language in the field has made some achievements, but also develop the students should learn what language communicative function, but not for preparatory students need to know how much of the communicative function of the project to develop a suitable communicative function. The relative lag of teaching quality will affect the students learning Chinese, also restricts the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.First of all, the international students studying in China as the main research object, in the syllabus of teaching Chinese as a foreign language instruction, using the form of questionnaire on Chinese communicative functions of their learning Chinese as a foreign language needs and functional requirements of the project conducted a survey analysis function. Secondly, the function demand, the future project grading sorting and classification of Chinese international students studying in the communicative function of the needs of the project and to participate in foreign students Chinese learning function of long-term foreign language teaching materials were compared and analyzed. Finally, on the basis of investigation and analysis, combined with the author of international students studying in China Chinese teaching experience, teaching strategies and teaching materials from the two aspects of Chinese language courses for international students studying in China and puts forward some pertinent suggestions.This paper selects the international students studying in China as the research object. in order to TCFL functional syllabus as the starting point for international students studying in China Chinese language courses made a trial study. There are some innovations in research methods, and provide guidance for foreign language teaching students, also can be a reference for the following research, significance of the teaching theory and teaching practice two aspects in this paper.
