As the basic and most important Confucian classic, The Annotations of 4 Chinese Classical Books not only records the mottos from Saints, but also carries great responsibility to interpret Confucian theory of methodology. Ever since a long time ago,the School of Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism monopolizes the power of interpretation and Zhu Xi’s interpretation is the masterpiece. However, Zhu Xi’s interpretation has mixed "Intuition" and "Inherent Laws of Things", in some degree, that leads his school to fall into a wrong path on methodology. Focusing on Zhang Dai’s The Meeting of The Annotations of 4 Chinese Classical Books which was published in 1985, this paper reconstructs the interpretation written by the school of Lu-Wang Neo-Confucianism which had been covered by Zhu Xi’ s. And with comparing the interpretation of Zhang Dai’s with Zhu Xi’s, this paper encapsulates two characteristics, "Originality" and "Considerateness", to highlight Lu-Wang’s attention on "Inherent Laws of Things". Then, this paper compares the theory of methodology between Zhu Xi’s and Lu Jiuyuan’s with the leads of "Intuition" and "Inherent Laws of Things" and gives Lu-Wang’s interpretation its just position. In the last part, this paper makes a discussion about the significance of Lu-Wang’s interpretation in fields in philosophy, history and real life.
