Research On Chinese Honorific Teaching To Thai Students

China is a kind of country which attaches great importance on "rituals" that permeates in all aspects of our daily life.Honorific plays a very important role in the process of daily communication.It makes sure that we can communicate smoothly.Therefore, honorific is a necessary part for Chinese learners to study Chinese better.The article focusing on honorific is based on the acquisition conditions of Thai learners of Chinese honorific and the teaching conditions of Chinese honorific to Thai learners to explore teaching methods of Chinese honorific positively.First of all, the article calculates out 373 Chinese honorific in common use according to a dictionary and corpus. And we can divide honorific into the most commonly used and not commonly used ones according to the statistics of honorific.Secondly, the article based on the division of honorific and the statistics of the commonly used honorific is to study the teaching conditions of Chinese honorific to Thai learners from three aspects:textbooks of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,acquisition conditions of Thai learners of Chinese honorific and teaching conditions of Chinese honorific to Thai learners. We can learn that there existed some problems in teaching materials, teaching and study from those three aspects.At last,aiming at those problems, in order to attain some effective teaching strategies the article explores teaching and learning methods combining statistically Chinese commonly used honorific and teaching program.
