The Study Of Wu Zongci’s Chronicles Theory

Many great master of the Chronicles raised during the republican periods when the Chronicles upgrade itself when the new wave congested, such as Zhenlun Bo, Jingxi Li, Xuanyin Qu, etc. Zongci Wu is a special one who carride forward to a new paragraph among them. He carved himself to the history of the Chronicles since he steped into the field from the 1930 s. He participated in the written of Lu shan zhi,Lu shan xu zhi gao and Jiang xi tong zhi gao. And he was in the first place of the theory of the Chronicles by written Lun jin ri zhi fang zhi xue, Lun ti li, Lun xiu zhi biao chu chu,etc. However, the academia of the Chronicles still lacks an overall summary of his legendary life(social activist) and his contributions in the History(wrote the first constitutional history of China). Therefore, it’s meanful to make a deep discovery in Wu’s Chronicles.This essay draw a conclusion of Wu’s Chronicles by researching his articals of the Chronicles and his theoris therefore organize his achievements in the Chronicles.The essay is devided into 5 parts.First part means to intorduce Zongci Wu’s life and his scholarship.Second part summarize his ideology in local chronicles via his writings.Third part is to make a summary of the written of Lu shan zhi which shows his theory’s scientificalness.Fourth part shows the final theory of Zongci Wu’s Chronicles by finishing Lu shan xu zhi gao and Jiang xi tong zhi gao.Last part states the influence of Wu’s Chronicles to nowadays. We should comprehended his contributions on linking the past to the future and known his limitations as the era which he lived, dialectically.
