A Case Study About Emotion Recognition, Comprehension Ability Of Children With Autism

The purpose of this study is to improve emotion recognition of three subjects,and explore the training methods in the research practice.Using the behavior method and analysis of facial features to teach recognize and distinguish different emotions for autistic children,using the method of interpretation of the idea to improve the theory of mind of autistic children.In addition, in this study we also use the games about the recognition, understanding of emotions, and we put the recognition, understanding of emotions in social interaction course,in order to improve the ability of recognition, understanding of emotions,of course,the most important is to put those knowledge into practice.Then,we mainly use the chart data analysis, visual analysis, statistical analysis of C data to analysis of data we have already collected in the study.Through analysis of the quantitative data, qualitative data,we found in the emotion recognition stage,two methods have a certain effect in improving the emotion recognition,the accuracy of four emotions response all have improved.There was significant difference between intervention stages and baseline stages, that Indicate three subjects really grasp different feature of expressions and can make clear between different emotions.In the training stage of emotion understanding,all three subjects respond quickly when they study happy, sad emotions,but can’t master the anger, surprise very well,and the accuracy of respond is very low,maybe the anger, surprise may have relation with social emotion,or these two emotions have relation with personal desire and wishes,so It is not difficult to understand why they can’t recognize the anger and surprise. Although the ability of emotions recognition,understanding have improved,compared with normal children,the level of emotion understanding are still relatively low.So we should make the further study to improve their ability of emotion recognition.
