Among the three elements of language constitution, vocabulary is the most basic material.No words, and you can’t have language.At present, there are more and more experts and scholars affirm the importance of vocabulary teaching in Teaching of Chinese as a Second language(TCSL), and they have a further research on vocabulary teaching in TCSL from multiple perspectives.This article mainly proceeds with the psychology angle, introduces the theory of psychology and its effects on the actual each link of vocabulary teaching.In addition, psychology and its application effects in vocabulary teaching of TCSL are divided into three parts to be intruduced detailedly, namely:settings of vocabulary teaching environment,first memorization of vocabulary and vocabulary review.Based on Chinese Department students of Language Institute in Egypt Ein Shams University,I try to understand them through questionnaire investigation, interview method and so on, and I apply psychology and its effects to the practical teaching, finally,this paper verifies and confirms the actual effects of application mode this artical illustrats.I hope this article can provide some enlightenment and reference value to the Chinese teaching workers.
