Research Of Luan-bai Ware,JingDeZhen Kilns Yuan Dynasty

The LuanBai porcelain is one of the most popular varieties of the Jingdezhen kiln in the Yuan Dynasty, for its glaze is unclear and white with little green liking the color of duck’s egg. It is an important part of the Yuan Dynasty porcelain industry,because of its unique cultural aesthetic connotation containing hierarchies.Currently, the academic is short of the research on the Jingdezhen LuanBai porcelain in the Yuan Dynasty and less relevant theses,leading to exist many problems in the LuanBai porcelain. Should it be called the Luanbai porcelain or the Shufu ware at last? What is its characteristics? Do it only exist in the Yuan Dynasty or is it produced in the last of South Song Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty. In addition, the date is always confused.Above all,this thesis, based on the former study and through relevant archeologic materials from dating tombs, hoards and kiln sites,first time systematically divide type and date of the Luanbai porcelain;and analyze its name,characteristics and other problems reasonably. This thesis want to conduct a integrity study about the Luanbai porcelain.
