Study On The Relationship Between Marital Qualityand Personality And Anxiety Of Parents Of Teenagers

Chinese is in a period of rapid transformation, the rhythm of people’s life is also accelerating, Society generally feel a kind of anxiety, such social environment undoubtedly enhance the adolescent anxiety level. In this paper, to improve adolescents’ anxiety level for the purpose of selecting young people’s individuality and parents’ marital quality two variables in Xining city junior high school, 489 junior middle school students and 270 parents were test, questionnaire survey. The results of the survey are as follows:(1) Two dimensions of anxiety, state anxiety and trait anxiety, exhibited no significant gender and grade differences, but girls in these two areas are slightly higher than the boys. In the school difference, two kind of anxiety appeared significant school difference.(2) Two dimension of Eysenck Personality Questionnaire: psychoticism, concealment, all showed significant gender and grade differences, while extraversion and neuroticism had no significant differences in such. School of comparison, in addition to neuroticism, the other three dimensions are exhibited significant school difference.(3) There were no significant differences in trait anxiety and state anxiety scores on the marital quality of high and low grouping. The quality of marriage of each factor score and anxiety associated with and significant.(4)There is significant correlation between personality and anxiety, extraversion and state anxiety and trait anxiety had significant negative correlation; there is a significant positive correlation between the two dimensions of neuroticism and anxiety; there is a significant positive correlation between the two dimensions of concealment and anxiety. Extraversion, neuroticism, cover up were the significant predictors of state anxiety; extroversion and lie on the trait anxiety has significant predictive effect.(5) Parents’ marital quality cannot predict adolescent anxiety, personality as an intermediary variable quality of marriage and anxiety is not valid. Variable parental marriage quality and can not be like the parenting style and so on, on adolescent anxiety to reach a remarkable prediction function. This may be because the quality of marriage is a husband and wife for their marital satisfaction and feeling, is not consistent with the teenagers may feel. And young subjects contained in the left behind children, their parents may have little to do with them, so the impact between the parents of teenagers getting on very small also.
