This paper aims to investigate the spoken Chinese anxiety of South Korean students in China. The causes for such anxiety are founded out by analyzing the performance of spoken Chinese anxiety of South Korean students, which can be helpful in the future foreigner-oriented Chinese teaching and spoken Chinese learning process by South Korean students in China. By taking the anxiety questionnaire of those students’ spoken Chinese as the survey tool, this study carries out survey for 40 South Korean students learning in China. Finally, via the statistical data analysis, it is found that South Korean students basically all have the sense of anxiety on spoken Chinese.This paper is mainly divided into six parts. The first part is an introduction. The research causes and research significances of the paper theme are explained in detail in this part, and relevant literature review by previous scholars is conducted. The second part introduces relevant theories about the foreign language anxiety and measurement tool, the investigation objects, methods and results of which are described. The third part carries out an analysis on the anxiety performance by South Korean students in China in learning spoken Chinese. Through the data analysis and statistics of the questionnaire, the overall situation and grouping of the anxiety performance by South Korean students in China in learning spoken Chinese are elaborated. The fourth part mainly summarizes factors influencing the generation of anxiety through the cross-over analysis of the first and third parts. Specific to the anxiety performance by South Korean students in China in learning spoken Chinese,corresponding recommendations are put forward in the fifth part. Finally, the innovation and inadequate points of this paper are concluded in the sixth part which gives an outlook for relevant future researches.
