With the development of China economy, more and more students come to China to learn Chinese in recent years. In oral teaching, spoken textbooks are the center of the whole teaching activity, it also the embodiment of the teaching goal,teaching task and content. The text of material is what students rely on, it’s also a guide of Chinese learning.This paper consists of five chapters, the first chapter introduces the reason why choose the topic, writing purpose, previous studies and the study methods. The second chapter expounds the definition of context, the classification of context, Hymes’ speaking model and related theory. The third chapter analyzes the five aspects of three primary spoken textbooks, and the contextual factors are compared and studied. The fourth chapter, propose appropriate teaching suggestions from oral class teaching principles, teaching methods and classroom applications in three areas based on the theory research and teaching material analysis. Finally, summarizes the research and the deficiency of the content and direction of further research.Context is one of the important factors of language understanding and using.The expression of language depends on context, the understanding of language also inseparable from the context. Current research is mostly focus on the classification and function of context, but research on context factors of spoken textbooks are rare.This article analyzes three primary spoken textbooks, discussing how contextual factors distribution in textbooks, and how to teaching in oral class by using contextual factors, from the students’ actual learning needs.
