The main purpose of Chinese primary spoken textbooks is to cultivatethe students communicative competence, but due to their languageproficiency and cognitive limitations, beginners learn their Chinesemainly depending on oral Chinese teaching. What the primary spokentextbooks most attractive to students is the contents of the session, as wellas the topics. In this essay,three kinds of topics are given,functional, topicand view topic.According to the contents of the teaching program, threesets of teaching materials:" Speed-up spoken Chinese "," ConversationalChinese301", and " Primary spoken Chinese ", the topic of books areanalyzed.There is a questionnaire on the overall views, views of differentcountries or regionsand opinions of different gender, finally someproblems should be noticed in TCFL spoken compiling teachingmaterial,also put forward some opinions and suggestions. This articleincludes6parts:Part I is introduction to the purpose and significance of the topic,research status, research ideas, research methods.Part II is the analysis of the " High school Chinese Syllabus(Intensive)",",including the function of the project system.Part III is the selection of three sets of TCFL oral textbooks, carryingon the analysis to the material selection of topics. The three sets oftextbooks are " Speed-up spoken Chinese "," Conversational Chinese301", and " Primary spoken Chinese ", summarizing some problems thatprimary spoken textbooks on the topic.Part IV is a questionnaire survey the oral topics,conducting on theprimary stage of the school students. Statistical analysis of survey data,the results of the survey are put forward in the paper.Most students hopeto understand Chinese knowledge and of the situation. The choices ofdifferent areas, different gender students are different.Part V is based on the above analysis, pointing out the problems ofcurrent primary stage of spoken language teaching material in the topicchoosing, at the same time, the paper gives the suggestions for the improvement of topic selection.Part VI is the summary of the main contents of this paper, and somesuggestions for the further research.
