With the popularization of higher education, frequent contacts between different ethnics and the fusion and collision of the inter-ethnic culture, psychological harmony and conflict will inevitably become a main problem of the minority college students who are facing two different culture. As everyone knows, bilingualism and bicultural identity integration are the important factors that affect the psychological adjustment of minority. This study is based on the BII(bicultural identity integration) putted forward by Benet-Martinez. and investigate more than 300 Tibetan college students in Gannan, Lanzhou via Bicultural Identity Integration Scale, Language Proficiency and Usage Scale, Acculturation Stress Inventory, Neuroticism Subscale of the Big Five Inventory, and the General Self-Efficacy Scale.The results of the survey are as follows:(1)After taking control the personality traits such as neurotic, self-efficacy and cultural adaptation pressure variable, bilingualism and bicultural identity integration positively predict the Tibetan college students’ psychological adjustment.(2)Bilingualism positively predict the psychological adjustment for the Tibetan college students of collective area.(3)Bicultural identity integration(BII) positively predict psychological adjustment for Tibetan college students in scattered area.Previous research mostly disscussed psychological adjustment in immigrants and dwellers, this study is different, which surveyed the affect of bilingualism and bicultural identity integration on Tibetan students’ psychological adjustment in ethnic minorities of northwest areas.By means of investigating the affect of bilingualism and bicultural identity integration on Tibetan students’ psychological adjustment, this study pointed out some problems possibly existing in the minority education in the future,and attempted to provide certain theoretical support for the further development of minority education.
