In modern Chinese Language, preposition is a kind of function word, which can show the relation between words and words, also between words and sentences. The preposition can not exists alone as the component of the sentence. The preposition is the key point for teaching Chinese as a foreign language. At the same time, it is the difficult point for overseas students since its’ usage is relatively complex. In this thesis, put the HSK dynamic composition corpus as the data source. The objects are "Gei(给)", "Wei(为)", "Ti(替)", which are used for the introduction of objects. These three words are high frequency words, and overseas students always confused about the use of these three words. The paper will focus on three aspects: syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic to describe and analyze the existing of errors in this group of preposition among international students. Also, this paper will find out the reason of errors, putting forward some feasible countermeasures for "teaching" and "learning" of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. This thesis is mainly divided into five parts:The first part is Introduction. It will mainly introduce the background, purpose and significance of the research. Also, this part will introduce some relevant study results and methods in academic field.The second part is the Study of Ontology. The paper will use comparative analysis method to study the replacement situation of these three prepositions in three aspects:syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic.The third part focuses on the Analysis of the Types of Errors. Summarize and analyze the effective corpus, pointing out the specific types of errors in this group of preposition among international students.The fourth part is the Study of the Errors’ Reasons and the Relevant Teaching Strategies.Based on the analysis of the third part of the types of errors, defining the reasons of the errors,and combining with the teaching practice, then proposes the corresponding teaching countermeasures.The fifth part is the Conclusion. The conclusion part is the summary of the whole thesis.This part will mention the contribution of the paper and at the same time, it will also point out some shortcomings of the paper.
