With the constant going deeper of the process of global economic integration, the Internet technology, which is the increasingly innovative, has brought the unprecedented cultural exchange in human history. At the same time, globalization also makes weak cultures feel its own culture identity’s crisis. Due to historical reasons, China’s modern design is almost entirely transplanted from modernism design system in the West. For a long time, "western design" has become the pronoun of "modern design". On the way to follow western design, there is a rapid growth of China’s modern design, but the new generations of Chinese designers, who have been living unconsciously under the western discourse for a long time, feel strange and unable to control when facing China’s traditional culture, therefore, the lack of "cultural identity" and the phenomenon of "cultural aphasia" appear.Based on the study of the cultural intention, the intention of the design, the basic properties of the design, the cultural attribute of the design, the cultural identity and function of the design and designers, as well as the cultural crisis of Chinese designers and "alienation" issues of Chinese designers’ cultural identity in the context of globalization, the thesis makes a deeper analysis of the reasons of "alienation", discusses the necessity of return of Chinese designers in the context of globalization and puts forward the strategy about how to construct Chinese designers’ cultural identity in the context of globalization.
