Study On The Culture Protection And Inheritance About Jiangli Village In Kunshan

Jiangli village is one of ancient villages in Kunshan which has 6,000 years of history. In addition to having a "Tai Chi Village" natural layout, Jiangli village even have many cultural heritages.It has many material cultures, such as eight sights in Jiangli village, and also has many non-material cultures, including the temple fair, folk songs custom and traditional folk arts and crafts. By researching the protection policy, funding, mechanism, the way of protection and the inheritance, this paper summarizes the successful practices and also find the failure experiences, such as incomplete policy planning, insufficient funds, incomplete cultural census, less crafts heritage and folk custom, the impact of modern life on traditional custom,etc,in the process of of culture protection and heritage. Based on the Jiangli cultural ecological characteristics and environmental characteristics, this paper discusses the principles and puts forward the proposals for Jiangli villager with the theory of cultural ecology and ‘live’ lastly, for example, establishing cultural ecological village, improving the village protection and inheritance mechanism, increasing the excavations culture resources, promoting multi-channel protection and handling between tourism and culture protection. The purpose of this article is to make arrangement of the experiences of Jiangli cultural preservation and heritage, raise the questions need to be improved, and recommend countermeasures practically, so that other general ancient villages can get some revelations about cultural preservation.
