Current Literary Education In University System

If we say that literature and art brings enjoyment and aesthetic experience of beauty to us, then literary education is to teach us how to find beauty, feel the beauty, appreciation of beauty. Literature’s developing must be accompanied by the development of literary education. Literary education’s meaning is highlighted now, as quality education has become a strategic choice. As one of the most important stages in literary education at the university, literary education presents a serious tendency of "deviating from the connotation of Hominology", performance for pragmatism, intellectualism and secularization. History of Chinese Literary education for nearly a century tells us: it must return to the connotation of Hominology and return to the spirit of education, aesthetic education, if we want literary education to play its unique role.Based on "Literature is Human Sicience ", the article studies literary education of college and its problems related to, in order to know more about literary education and be able to obtain some enlightenment on the development of university literary education in the future. In view of this, the first part of the article focuses on literary humanism connotation and then extends to university literary education’s concept and connotation; the second part of the article analysis the current situation of university literary education from the point of department of Chinese literary education and non-professional literary education; the third part is on the basis of the second part, it summarizes the problems present of university literary education; the fourth attempt to find out that why university literary education performances like this; the last part is a general review about literary education in the past century of china, in order to get some useful inspirations to improve the current situation of university literary education.
