Pratice Report On The Escort Interpreting Of Poland Ambassador In The 25th Harbin Trade Fair

With the rapid development of economy and the continuous of Harbin culture strength, The 25 th Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair was held successfully. Harbin has attracted more and more people’s attention, Harbin Fair for Trade and Economic Cooperation was held this year proved that foreign exchanges in Harbin are more frequent than ever, so the demand for translators is increasing. In this report, the author selects escort interpreting of Poland Ambassador Tadeusz Chomicki from June 30 th to July 3th as the task when I work for Foreign Affairs Office. Some problems occurred in the translation process are analyzed, serious thought and I found my shortcomings and draw some of my own translation practice experience, aiming to discuss the problems that existed during the process of translation and trying to find out the solutions.The report is summarized from the perspective of liaison and escort interpreting. It’s divided into four chapters. The first chapter provides an overview of the task and a brief introduction of the guest and the nature of my task. The second chapter is about the preparation before translation. The third chapter is the process of the task, mainly elaborated the interpreting problems and their specific analysis. The last chapter is the summary of the paper,in which the author sums up two aspects from the practice. The first is the reflection of the task, and the second part is the revelation for translation work.
