| As one of art language expressions, mixed media changed the form of the art expression, which shows the importance of the development of medium makes the painting move to a multi-future.Image Expressionism was born as a modern art, developing the painting with the mixed media. In this paper, we focus on the significance of the mixed media in Image Expressionism with the skills and the expressions of the mixed medial, and show how it works in my paintings. And the paper will proceed with 4 sections.Section 1 describes the history of the mixed media developed both in Chinese paintings and western paintings. For western countries, the art went through a big revolution because of the improvement of material. And for China, after the reforming and opening-up, Chinese artists start to know the mixed media and try to use it in their works. In the first section, it will show how Chinese and western artists work on the mixed media in their works.Section 2 is devoted to the actions of artists practicing painting with the mixed media in Image Expressionism. First of all, the meanings of Image Expressionism will be told. Second, give the examples of the actions of artists practicing painting with the mixed media. Third, sum up the technique of using the mixed media in painting of Image Expressionism.Section 3 explores the spirituality of the mixed media in Image Expressionism paintings, and demonstrates the value of mixed media in the creation of Image Expressionism, which is the point of this paper.In Section 4, the personal thought of the mixed media in creation. In this section, I will talk about my own point of view with dividing it into three ways, they are THE BEAUTY OF DUNHUANG, THE BEAUTY OF JIANGNANTHE, THE BEAUTY OF CITIESThis paper try to dig the spirituality of the mixed media in Image Expressionism painting from four different ways, the first tells the ontology of the mixed material, the second shows the time of the material developing, the third displays the background of Chinese art, the forth talks the expression of the work created with the mixed media. Also, research the spirituality of the mixed media in Image Expressionism painting is also a better way to increase the expressions of the concept of art and to improve the knowledge of materials. |
