The Latin-American magic realism was appearing in the 1930 s, flourishing in the 1950 s. It has been the central point of the Chinese contemporary literature’s comments since it was introduced into China in 1979. At the mean time, China’s researches in magic realism were gradually marching toward a high peak. During these researches, many writers put their eyes back to the traditional literature and culture, and revising the deep hidden traditional nationality culture. This thesis is going to research about the root-seeking literature’s acceptance problem to magic realism, in all three chapters.Chapter one: The study of the fact of root-seeking literature’s acceptance to magic realism. In first 30 years after the founding of new China, for the reason of identity, political need Chinese literary circle began to treat the Latin American countries as the comrades of the same line, and gradually began to pay attention to the translation work of Latin American literature.
