His works are filled with fluent languages, vivid expressions, variable sentences and humorous content.In his works, dozens of conversations and psychological descriptions are used to mould the protagonists’ images.The present translation practice is based on the translation of the first four chapters of The Street Lawyer. There are lots of conversations and psychological descriptions.Conversations are the important means to move the plot forward and to explain the background clearly, using short spoken language. Psychological descriptions include direct psychological descriptions and indirect psychological descriptions. These two modes can help analyze the character’s inner world. In view of these two aspects, such translation methods and strategies are adopted as amplification, division, conversion,literal translation and free translation, in the hope that the target readers can understand the original as well as the source text readers.
