Through induce and analyze the overall arrangement of timbre and sound in Finland composer Kaija Saariaho’s three works: Mirrors, Neiges, Sept Pappillons, the author’s trying to find out the significance of timbre acoustics technology and find out the influence of other elements of the works such as rhythm, tempo, intensity, etc. Furthermore, exploring the works’ forms-- affected by all the elements-- of these works, and investigating the function of timbre acoustics technology of the titles. |
