The Painting Reflected In Contemporary Freehand Flower And Bird Painting

With the vigorous development of contemporary freehand painting art, a large number of freehand painting arts, highly skilled and rich in painting language have emerged. The contemporary art of painting freehand painting language has absorbed the essence of traditional art, reflecting the characteristics of the times. Exploring the freehand brushwork painting language and its characteristics is of great significance to recognize the contemporary freehand painting art and its future development.This paper focuses on the painterlines. The first part expatiate on the purpose and significance, giving a definition of the concept. The second part concludes the concept definition of painterlines with the reflection of painting language in the broad sense besides the brushwork and painting traces valued universally in the contemporary painting. It also adopts a comparative approach to how the history of oriental and western art gradually develops into a dominant factor from a recessive factor, becoming an important principle of evaluation contemporary drawings. The third part analyzes how the painterlines has been conveyed in the drawings from technique and materials, and makes efforts to illustrate how excellent works surpass images and ordinary paintings by analyzing several works in quite different styles, presenting the unique artistic charm. The fourth part states my exploration of painting expression through subject selection and picture processing of my works. The fifth part emphasizes the significance of painterlines among contemporary drawings once again through analyzing the essential requirement of drawings, historical heritage of Chinese art context, and how contemporary drawings become the valuable works of art.
