The Chinese coordination compound sentence, frequently used by oversea students is a kind of sentence pattern that with a wide coverage. Since the author always serves as teacher in South Korean institutions, during the interaction with South Korean, it is found that the coordination compound sentence seems to be simple but there exist several errors when the South Korean overseas students use the kind of sentence. However, there are only a few studies on the analysis of the South Korean students’ wrong use of coordination compound sentence in the Chinese compositions written by the South Korean students as the research objects in hope of being able to provide better suggestions for the teaching of coordination compound sentence.This dissertation firstly summarizes the status quo of the research on the ontology and second language acquisition(SLA) of the coordination compound sentence, then reaches an induction and conclusion based on the author ’s collection of corpus and HSK dynamic composition corpus and conducts analysis of the errors. It is found that when the South Korea overseas students are learning the coordination compound sentence, due to the weak grasp of using correlative, they often make inappropriate use of conjunctions such as addition, omission, disorder, mix or blend of correlative, etc. Among these, the rate of the mix correlative is the highest and occupies 45% of the total error rate.According to the types and the cause of the errors made by students, in the end, this dissertation puts forward some relevant suggestions on the teaching of coordination compound correlative such as conducting induction and conclusion of the coordination compound correlative, applying the task-based teaching method in the teaching, etc.
