As the basis of learning and using language,pronunciation occupies a significant positionin teaching Chinese. It is also an important point in teaching Chinese as The SecondLanguage. It is also a difficulty for another countries students learning Chinese. There arealways some universal and regular pronunciation errors when the South Korea learn Chinesepronunciation. This is a study of pronunciation errors of South Korean students of Chinese.We firstly analyzed the pronunciation errors of south Korean students, explored the reasons ofthe pronunciation errors and then presented the corresponding teaching countermeasures.In this paper, first of all, the author stated the reason of this topic, and reviewed thehistory of Chinese pronunciation errors. The author took Seoul area of South Korean studentsas the object of study, used comparative analysis and migration theory, error analysis theory,the theory of interlanguage to directing the paper writing. These theories provide thetheoretical foundation for the paper and point out the writing direction. Following thesetheories, the author analyzed the pronunciation errors of south Korean students of Chinesefrom aspects of initials, finals,tones and phonetics change, and analyzed the deep causes ofpronunciation errors from four aspects which are the negative transfer of mother tongue, thenegative transfer of the target language, improper teaching and subjective conditions oflearner. According to the students’ pronunciation error, the author expounded the basicprinciples of Chinese teaching: focus on key and difficult points, from easy to difficult, thedemonstration and imitation, rewiew and consolidate, timely correct the pronunciation. Theauthor made teaching countermeasures according to the errors of South Korean students ofChinese, the teaching countermeasures are as following: to enhance voice comparative studyand reduce the influence of negative transfer of mother tongue, to pay attention to thenegative transfer of the target language, to improve the quality of teaching Chinese as aforeign language, to mobilize the iniative and enthuiasm of the students.
