As one of important teaching methods in modern times, multimedia teaching methods is used universally. According to collect some first materials in Elyon Christian school in Indonesia, in order to research some problems in teaching primary Chinese vocabulary used by multimedia teaching method. As one of important teaching methods in modern times, multimedia teaching methods is used universally. According to collect some first materials in Elyon Christian school in Indonesia, in order to research some advantages and disadvantages in teaching primary Chinese vocabulary used by multimedia teaching method. Compared to traditional teaching method, multimedia used in teaching Chinese as second language do has some superiorities. There are the advantages and disadvantages, the former are it helps the comprehension of vocabulary shape, usage of vocabulary pragmatic, and one of important to improve the students to memorize the vocabulary. The later are the waste of time, invisible to learn the function words, and some difference in the learning steps. And importantly, we can conclude the inspiration from practical teaching.
