The progress of the times and the development of science and technology is making the current development of multimedia technology more and more mature,and multimedia technology has been widely applied to all aspects of teaching.Multimedia technology is straightforward,interesting and diverse.If we can properly apply it to the teaching of primary Chinese characters,combining images,animations,sounds,videos and others with the teaching contents.It can enhance students' interest in studying and their understanding of the pronunciation?shape?meaning of Chinese characters.And also can help to improve students' studying efficiency and learning effect.Therefore,this paper conducts research on the use of multimedia technology in the teaching of Chinese characters in the initial stage.I hope to help teaching Chinese as a foreign language in the future and to provide new ideas and methods for teaching.This article consists of five parts:The first part introduces the origin of the research,the purpose and significance of the research,current research status and the research methods.The research status is divided into two parts:the development and application of multimedia teaching technology and the application of multimedia technology in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.It mainly analyzes the application of multimedia technology in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,sorts out the current achievements and shortcomings,and lays a theoretical foundation for the development of the full text.The second part systematically inspects and classifies the first three Chinese characters of "International Curriculum for Chinese Language Education".We discuss the theoretical basis of multimedia teaching technology by using the pedagogy?philology and psychology.And conduct a feasibility analysis of primary Chinese characters teaching.The third part is a questionnaire survey of foreign students to investigate their tendency on the teaching methods of primary Chinese characters,the students'understanding and attitude towards multimedia teaching technology,and the help of multimedia technology for foreign students to learn Chinese characters.We can summarize the existing problems and propose reasonable suggestions based on the questions through data analysis,so as to avoid possible problems in the real classroom.The fourth part is based on the first edition of "Chinese Course"(Revised Edition)as an example,designed a specific teaching plan to apply multimedia technology to the teaching of primary Chinese characters,including all aspects of Chinese characters,to provide ideas and choices for practical teaching.The last part is a summary of the full text point of view,and we put forward some suggestions on the use of multimedia technology for teaching Chinese characters.
