An Investigation Into The Teaching Practices Of Postgraduates Majoring In MTCSOL

Because our country try best to carry out the strategic layout of Chinese international promotion, great progress has been made in the business of overseas Chinese language teaching in recent years. In the meantime, more and more Chinese students of MTCSOL get overseas internships for teaching Chinese as a second language. For multiple reasons, not all Chinese students of MTCSOL can obtain overseas internships or willing to complete their practices over the seas. There are many Chinese students of MTCSOL still stay in China for their practices of teaching Chinese as a second language. So we consider that we should do more in-depth researches to find out that what factors influence the different choices of Chinese interns.In this article, in order to understand the different requirements and feedbacks of Chinese interns, we do an in-depth investigation and research of these four aspects at first: the reasons of choosing present practice educational models, the concrete implementing ways of practices, intensive workloads and work remuneration of Chinese interns. And then, we put forward some suggestions for improvement according to the survey. In the end, we think that the improving of the practice educational models of MTCSOL need Confucius Institute Headquarters(Hanban), Chinese universities and the other related functions to work together at these four aspects: making overall arrangements of inland internships, expanding approaches of overseas internships, improving the salaries and ensuring the lawful rights of interns.
