Study On Shen Xingong’s Thought Of Music Education

The "School songs" began in our school’s music education in the early 20 th century, and music lesson was set in the new style school resulting in popularization of sing teaching. The "School songs" had extremely important influence for music education development of our country. referring to "school songs", Li Shutong was the most popular representative figure, moreover Shen Xingong was the founder of the “school songs”. He created a lot of music works and a new creation technique of musicto popularize in the new style school at that time in his life. The education thought of his music works had important influence and reference meaning to modern music education,conIn this paper, Shen’s education thought of music was mined and refined, by studying background of his lifetime, development history and background of music creation. Finally, this thesis summarize Shen’s great contribution on the school songs and music and significant influence on compilation of modern music course and modern music education thought and produced.
