Children painting is a child to the objective world with a certain observation and understanding, through the children’s imagination and freedom to play with graffiti, painting the way to express inner feelings of the carrier. Children’s painting summarized in color, free, lively, free and easy, suitable for children to volatile, sprinkle, coating, wipe the way enjoy the expression innermost feelings, popular children’s favorite. Children’s painting is the primary stage of art education, it is an important part of children’s art education. At present, children’s painting is highly valued by the family, school and society.Painting is a process of children from the shallower to the deeper, from easy to difficult process. According to the development of children’s drawing ability, children’s painting can be divided into three stages: graffiti period, symbolic period and image period. Graffiti is the children to the outside world to explore scrawling on behavior; symbol period is the transition period in the children’s painting, children painting object has certain features of the image. The image of the period is children draw objects close to the objective image of the painting stage. Regardless of children’s painting ability is in which stage, the adult should respect the children’s individual development status, to children’s painting behavior and encourage, not to use the adult’s vision to judge the children’s paintings.In the process of painting to cultivate children’s interest in drawing is particularly important, children’s interest in one thing, the time and effort invested in this matter will increase the focus on one thing more long-term. In painting, the color is an important means of expression, children’s love of color out of nature, each child has its own feelings of color. For the study of children’s art, color painting color collocation can show unexpected results, gouache color toning process like games in general, the higher interest. Rich color and picture perfect combination together, not only to cultivate the children’s divergent thinking and creativity, color changes also give children bring rich reverie, improve children’s imagination and give children bring more painting of happiness. The use of color in the teaching process of children’s painting is an excellent way to transfer the interests of children, so that children’s attention. The color in the children’s painting and plays important role in children’s art teaching.Color in the use of children’s paintings is not only reflected in the paper, the author in color teaching practice in Qiuxian Tangram studio, color in Indian painting, scratch painting, painted masks, ultra light clay have been better used. In specific practice, the use of color in different painting materials in the multi- variability and richness of the success of the transfer of children to color, the interest of painting, drawing lessons to a successful conclusion. The process of teaching practice also shows that only teaching constantly innovate so as to arouse children’s interest in painting, to more fully to dig and improve children’s creativity and expression, in order to achieve certain teaching result.
