Explore The Creative Elements Of Hunan Flower Drum Piano Music And Its Teaching

Hunan Flower Drum style piano is created by composers operating piano theory composition techniques and absorbing Hunan Flower Drum Opera music elements. Hunan Flower Drum style piano is not only one of the most important parts of Chinese piano but also a special form of Chinese national music. Besides,it also carries the excellent traditions of Hunan Province musical culture and embraces the spirit of Chinese people. This final dissertation will be composed starting with the analysis of creative elements and teaching methods, by the aim of exploring the Hunan flower drum style piano.This paper selects the cream of three pieces of Hunan flower drum style piano works, one is the "the theatre exhibition",which draws lessons from western music technique and exhibits " Wu Chu" cultural soul; the another one is "Hunan flower drum",which have a profound impact on the Chinese piano music creation;the third work is "pattern", which combines the western modern composition technology and Hunan province traditional culture.On this basis, this paper starts analyzing these composition elements and exploring related teaching methods. Firstly, from the work creation perspective, the creation of these three works all draws from the Hunan Flower Drum Opera music, imitates musical elements like the Flower Drum Opera National pentatonic Yudiao, gongs, drums brand singing, Sichuan tune singing,Flower Drum Opera special four tone sound column, fight rhythm and the sound of the instrument. Based on that, we can systematically grasp the drum piano writing style. Secondly,from the piano teaching perspective, this papers orderly discusses the teaching process and the teaching method of these three works, analyzing its inherent Hunan Flower Drum Music Style Characteristics. After that, giving suggestions about the teaching methods according to the divergent difficulties of playing finger function, touch keys and ornamentation play.Finally, this paper reiterates the importance of the teaching of Chinese piano works and draw the conclusion about Chinese national piano teaching methods and process through above analysis focusing on these typical Hunan flower drum style piano works.
