| In recent years, Chinese teaching program is flourished in Thailand, more and more schools are setting up Chinese courses, it even becomes a hot spot to attract parents. This fully shows that Thai learn Chinese with very high enthusiasm. However, according to the reflection of many Chinese teachers in Thailand, Chinese language teaching in Thailand has not yet formed a complete system, in many places showed significant differences. Furthermore, the difference, especially perform on materials, different province and even different schools have difference in materials selected. Textbooks which are not synchronized have led many difficulties in teaching.The author was sent to Narivittya schools Ratchaburi Thailand to teaching Chinese in June 2015. When using the Chinese textbook, the author found that textbook which named "Chinese geniusâ€, is not suitable for the students at this stage. Thus, for the current Chinese level and characteristics of Thai students, it decided to lead vocabulary teaching activities into the classroom. And on this basis, the author completed the thesis on "Chinese genius" vocabulary teaching activities.On the basis of existing researching on classroom activities, the thesis studies many kinds of classroom activities of a book named “Chinese Geniusâ€. Furthermore, the paper explores the cultural differences reflected by classroom activities between China and Thailand so that the volunteers can adapt the cultural differences better. Then, they can develop a better Chinese teaching method.The thesis adopts documentary method; questionnaire survey; observation study; experiment method and experience summarization to analyze and explore the subject matter. Specifically, the thesis is divided into five parts. The second chapter and third chapter are the main parts of it. In the second chapter, the author observed the teaching methods of Thai and Chinese teachers, which proved that there are real differences between these two countries. Also, the author designed a questionnaire for the fourth grade students. According to survey data, the author designed a lot of vocabulary teaching activities. The third chapter was based on the second chapter which analyzes the vocabulary level of the students. Also, the author explored the differences between Thai and Chinese culture.Hopefully this paper which based on the book named<Chinese genius> can improve the adaptability for the volunteers who come to Thailand to teach Chinese, and bring some advantages on improving teaching skills. |
