Vocabulary Teaching is very important in teaching Chinese as a second language.On the base of other's research,the author of this thesis tries to seek suitable strategies of Chinese vocabulary teaching in Thailand,connecting with Thai language,society and the students' character.The author in this thesis mainly adopts the methods of inquiry and contrast analysis, meanwhile he also considers about the methods of connection of description and explanation,the method of connection of the quality and the quantity.Referring to the goal,emphasis and methods,he discusses and carries out an experiment of vocabulary teaching strategies,according to the fact of Thai school students and with a relative new angle.In the first chapter of introduction,the author introduces the condition of research of the Chinese vocabulary teaching as a second language,including the contents,methods,principles, concepts and goals.In the second chapter,he mainly discusses the strategies of Chinese vocabulary teaching according to integrative Thai society,the relationship between Chinese and Thai and the students' cognition,and these strategies include vocabulary teaching goal,three emphasis and four methods.That is the goal of applying words;choosing words,structure of words and the relationship between "zi" and words;the method of learning "zi " together with games,the method of revision,the method of vocabulary teaching link and the method of recitation.In the third chapter,he discuss the feasibility and efficiency of the vocabulary teaching strategies above.The fourth chapter is the conclusion,in which the author make a conclusion of the main contents of this thesis.At the same time,he emphasizes that there are some utilizing meanings to text compiling referring to the vocabulary selection,and he also points out some deficiencies of this research.
